Run installer (file jblocks-setup.exe), choose your preferred language and press Next:
If you already have JDK installed, a welcome screen appears. Otherwise you have to quit installer and install the JDK. Continue pressing Next:
Choose the destination directory where jBlocks should be installed or let the installer use the default path and press Next:
If you do not want to create a launcher on the Desktop or don't want to associate .jbl files with the jBlocks environment, modify theese options and press Next (association means that all .jbl files will be opened in jBlocks):
The last but one dialogue window summarizes the install options you chose in previous steps. If you want to modify them, press the Back button. Pressing Next will start installation:
You can run the application immediately after finishing the installation process:
A splash screen appears before the main application starts. Continue to the Environment page:
Warning: Modifying theese files may cause application failure.
jBlocks is by default installed to C:\\Program Files\Mechatronic Education\jBlocks directory (if not changed in the installation proccess). Use jblocks.exe to run the main program.
Configuration files are located in C:\\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Mechatronic Education\jBlocks:
jdk.ini contains path to JDK (needed to run the application)
jblocks.conf contains environment settings, such as language
